DPW ANNOUNCES TEMPORARY CHANGES TO STREET SWEEPING SCHEDULE

(8/8/2008) NEW HAVEN- The New Haven Department of Public Works has announced changes to the street sweeping schedule for the week of August 11-15, 2008:

No posting, towing or sweeping on the following routes (see website map areas at www.cityofnewhaven.com):

Monday, August 11: Heights (East Grand-North Haven line), Route 1, map area 6

Wednesday, August 13: Hill (Kimberly area), Route 1, map area 13

Thursday, August 14: Hill (Kimberly area), Route 1, map area 13

Friday, August 15: Fair Haven (Wooster area), Route 1, map area 8

Annex, (Main to Fort Hale), map area 14

All other scheduled sweeping routes for the week of August 11-15, 2008 will be paper posted (no parking) one day prior to sweeping.

The city website, www.cityofnewhaven.com/PublicWorks/What’sNew, will be updated on Friday, August 15, 2008 to indicate any changes in the sweeping schedule for the week of August 18-22, 2008.
